Challenge

The existing site sent guests to a third-party booking widget within seconds, before the property had made its case — and every booking carried a commission.

Approach

  1. 01Led with rooms, location and photography instead of an immediate availability form
  2. 02Reduced the booking path to the smallest number of decisions
  3. 03Optimised for mobile, where most hospitality traffic arrives
  4. 04Structured content and schema so the property ranks for its own name and region

Solution

A fast, image-led site with a direct enquiry and booking path, room content managed by the property, and multi-language support for its main source markets.

Technologies

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Supabase
  • Vercel

Architecture

  • Static generation for content routes, dynamic for availability
  • Supabase-backed room and rate content
  • Image pipeline through Supabase Storage and next/image
  • Structured data for hotel, room and location entities

Outcome

The property now owns its booking narrative, with a direct path that does not hand the guest to an intermediary in the first ten seconds.

Outcomes are described qualitatively. We publish performance figures only where the client has verified and approved them.
